Vanessa Feltz has revealed that “a few famous men” have been “sliding into” her DMs as she adjusts to the dating scene after splitting from partner of 16 years Ben Ofoedu.
The 61-year-old has been single for almost a year now, and despite appearing on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, hasn’t yet found that special someone – but by the sounds of it, she has no shortage of admirers.
In an interview with OK! magazine, she admitted multiple famous men have contacted her via social media, clarifying that former work colleagues are not among them.
“There is one I wouldn’t mind seeing,” she teased, adding: “He’s messaged me on Instagram and I’ve replied, so we’ll see how it goes.”
Vanessa has denied claims that she’s enjoying a fling with a neighbour, although she teasingly joked that she wishes “the rumours were true”.

However, one thing is for certain – the star has vowed to keep her romantic life a little more private after claiming she should have “learnt her lesson” about having liaisons in the public eye.
She bluntly revealed that dating in front of 12 cameras is “really difficult” and that appearing on the show “taught me not to do any more reality TV”.
Meanwhile, writing in her column for the Daily Express earlier this year, she exclaimed: “I’m currently doing my best to navigate E4’s Celebs Go Dating and making a right pig’s ear of it.
“I seem to have forgotten my own maxim: ‘If you don’t want them to show it, don’t do it.’”
Vanessa claimed that the broadcast was intentionally edited for dramatic effect to boost the channel’s ratings – but also says she fell straight into the trap.

“If I’d been angelic throughout they’d have nothing negative to show, of course,” she reasoned, adding that she takes “full responsibility” for portraying “boredom” and “frustration” on the show.
She appeared alongside the likes of Love Islanders Adam Collard and Chloe Burrows, Made in Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli, and Kate Moss’ little sister Lottie Moss on the show.
It aims to pair celebrities with ordinary members of the public to help them find love, with varying results.
Vanessa made it clear she felt she was “closed off” and was fearful of repeating previous patterns after being paired with a “charming, handsome” musician.

“The last thing I want is some itinerant, horny musician. I’ve had that [already],” she retorted.
She was referring to her former boyfriend Ben Ofoedu, a singer-songwriter from the band Phats and Small, which achieved a number two chart hit back in 1999 with ‘Turn Around’.
Although he still enjoys a music career and is also famous for his TV appearances with Vanessa, who joined him multiple times on quiz show Pointless Celebrities.
They’ve been panel members together on shows such as Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side too, and back in 2007 they even won a mammoth payout of £150,000 on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
However, they split after Ben was unfaithful and Vanessa later lamented to OK!: “I have been, I think it’s on public record, a rotten picker. I haven’t been good at picking, I really haven’t.”
