Multi-platinum group The Roots have announced that their annual The Roots Grammy Jam Session will take place on Saturday, February 4, at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.
The upcoming session, sponsored by Hilton, marks the group’s first Grammy session in three years.
The evening will begin with a set from Adam Blackstone and his Legacy Experience. More special guests for the event will be announced in the coming days.
The Roots’ award-winning tour manager, Tina Farris, will produce the session.
Several top acts, including John Legend, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, Ty Dolla $ign, Lenny Kravitz, Ed Sheeran and Miley Cyrus, have previously performed at The Roots Grammy Jam Sessions.
