Strictly: It Takes Two presenter Fleur East has lifted the lid on which contestants she’s “rooting for” this year.
The former Strictly Come Dancing finalist will make her debut as an It Takes Two host this month alongside former Strictly professional Janette Manrara.
Fleur, 35, spoke to Express.co.uk about her exciting new role after she wowed crowds at Cheshire’s DevaFest last month, headlining at the family-friendly music, food and lifestyle festival
Giving her take on the BBC show’s 2023 line-up, the former X Factor finalist admitted: “I haven’t expected anybody, to be honest. But I think it’s been such a good lineup so far.”
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star went on to confess she would be bowled over each time a new contestant was announced.

Detailing which stars she thinks will be ones to watch, Fleur revealed: “Eddie Kadi I’m really excited about because I’ve watched him on the comedy circuit for so many years and I’ve met him a few times.
“He has got amazing natural rhythm,” she enthused. “So I think he’ll be one to watch. I think he’ll be very, very good.
“He’s hilarious as well, so if he brings his comedy to the dancing, I think he’ll do very well.”
“Adam Thomas as well,” Fleur continued. “I know him extremely well. And we’ve done Don’t Rock the Boat together.”

ITV show Don’t Rock the Boat saw 12 celebrities split into two teams to take part in the challenge of rowing the length of Britain, with plenty of action-packed challenges on the shore along the way.
“We rowed day and night for a month,” Fleur recalled. “So I know that boy very, very well and I think he’s going to have a laugh with it. I think he’ll be really fun to watch.”
Fleur then went on to say: “There are quite a few people [I’m backing]. I mean, Zara McDermott, I’m rooting for her! There are a few people that I’m backing this year. It’s going to be hard!”
Fleur, who made it to the final of the BBC dance show last year with professional partner Vito Coppola, is taking over the reins from Rylan Clark on It Takes Two later this month.
The singer will be joined by Janette on the Strictly spin-off show just weeks after the star has welcomed her first child, a daughter named Lyra, with her husband and former Strictly professional Aljaž Škorjanec.
As well as Emmerdale actor Adam, comedian Eddie and Love Island star Zara, other celebrities taking part in Strictly this year include: Layton Williams, Nigel Harman, Jody Cundy, Ellie Leach and Nikita Kanda.
Angela Rippon, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Bobby Brazier, Les Dennis, Annabel Croft, Amanda Abbington and Angela Scanlon will also be taking to the dance floor.
The first live show for Strictly Come Dancing looks set to air on Saturday, September 23 on BBC One.
