Stacey Solomon’s son Rex, 2, cuddles her bare baby bump as she struggles to fall to sleep

Stacey Solomon has shared the cutest insight into her bedtime routine as her youngest son Rex ‘cuddled’ and ‘tickled’ her growing baby bump.

Mum of three Stacey – who recently got to meet cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch’s newborn son Lennie – is currently pregnant with her fourth child.

While the family prepares for the arrival of their baby girl, the 31-year-old has taken to Instagram to share an adorable picture of her son Rex, two, cuddling her bare bump.

A sleepy looking Rex, who Stacey shares with her partner and actor Joe Swash, was dressed in a printed bodysuit and was clearly supposed to be sleeping.

Captioning the image, the Loose Women panelist wrote: “Night night from me, a very awake Rex and now a very awake disco dancing little princess pickle.

“Rex is trying to cuddle her and tickling her love you all. I know I’ve been so slow on here lately.

“But I have some time off soon and the school runs will be over too so it’ll get better I promise,” followed by a laughing face and a white love heart.

She wrote to her 4.5 million Instagram followers: “Love you all…night night.”

Stacey is already mum to Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, while her and Joe share toddler Rex.

The couple were over the moon to announce recently that they are expecting a baby girl.

“Joe was in tears” a source said. “Stacey says she just wants to make sure the baby is good and healthy, but to have a little girl is the icing on the cake.”

The source added that Stacey and Joe feel like when they welcome their little girl it will complete their family.

Announcing the pregnancy just over a month ago on the 9th of June, Stacey posted a photo of herself next to partner Joe as they stood with pink balloons.

She wrote in the caption: "Baby Girl! I can not believe I'm writing this… We are growing a little baby girl.

"To our darling boys, you are the best big brothers anyone could wish for, and you're little sister is the luckiest girl in the world to have you all by her side. I honestly have no words…

"Mummy Daddy and ALL of your big brothers can not wait to meet you little one… We love you so so much already, darling girl."

In more recent times, the TV star has been open about her excitement about the gender of the baby as she goes aboutbuying girls clothes and decorating the pink nursery .

Family has always meant a lot to Stacey. The auburn beauty recently told pals family comes before anything following a recent accident Rex suffered at home.

The pregnant auburn beauty was shocked when toddlerRex recently had to be rushed to hospital after a nasty fall in their garden.

The tot required stitches to his lip which left her and her fiancé Joe shaken to the core.

At the time, Joe, 39, told their Instagram followers: “Honestly, when the kids are hurt, I panic like nobody’s business.”
