Stacey Giggs, the ex-wife of footballer Ryan Giggs, has revealed that her £80k Range Rover Sport has been recovered after three masked men stole it from her driveway whilst she was at home.
The former WAG, 43, is said to have seen her £80,000 car be driven off by thieves in the early hours of Thursday 25 August morning at her home in Worsley, Manchester, leaving her and her two children, Liberty, 19, and Zach, 15, "traumatised".
Stacey took to Instagram on Sunday to let her 6,224 followers know that the car had been retrieved, saying: "At the end of the day, it's just a car".
Posting to her Instagram stories, she wrote: "Thank you so much for your lovely messages. Liberty, Zach and myself are doing just fine.
"My car's with the police forensic and we have CCTV. But at the end of the day, it's just a car."
The car was recovered just days after it was stolen, and a source told The Sun: “It was so upsetting.
“Stacey’s kids are hysterical. They’ve been left terrified and inconsolable.”
The same source told The Sun of the car theft: "It's unthinkable for this to happen after everything Stacey has been through with Max.
“She called police straight away. They were there all night trying to work out how the robbers accessed the property and her car. Thankfully they found it but the whole incident is terrifying.”
Stacey was looking much happier on Saturday as she posted snaps from her time at a Salford City match alongside co-owner Gary Neville and his wife Emma Hadfield.
The car theft comes a month after Stacey and her ex-boyfriend Max George "split for the second time" after dating for four years, and he even played the role of step-father to her two children.
The pair had called it quits in March before briefly getting back together.
Since his split with Stacey, Max has moved on with his former Strictly Come Dancing co-star and former EastEnders actress Maisie Smith.
The pair haven't been shy about flaunting their romance, having been spotted walking Max's dog Albert in London and packing on the PDA as they shopped for home goods recently.
They've even taken their love to the sunshine as they've visited Crete and Mallorca in the last month.
Earlier this month, the new flames were allegedly spotted kissing onboard a flight to Crete.
A fellow passenger told OK!: “They looked like a very loved-up couple – they were all over each other for the entire four-hour flight. Snogging and giggling like any new couple.
“My wife said it was a bit over the top at one stage. They were smooching, holding hands and kissing.”
Stacey is said to have been "shocked but not surprised" at Maisie and Max's new romance, and she recently made a cryptic comment on Instagram, saying that she had "shifted a lead weight from around her neck".
