Since my first game, I have been working on many more small projects. As I started to build my portfolio, I started to be able to do a lot more work. A lot of it was for indie studios or for other small projects. While I was always grateful for my small projects, I often felt like I was working for someone else. As games industry gets bigger and bigger, more and more people are jumping in and out of the business. Some of those people can produce, others can design. It is hard to know what you are really good at until you try it out. It is also very difficult to be in a group that has too many different perspectives. I have played a lot of games since I started in this industry and while I would like to think that I have learned a lot about games, I have also learned a lot about myself and my flaws. How I have failed in my career and my thoughts about my failures. I think I can shed some light on my own journey in this. I am not going to be talking about indie games as most of them are not my expertise. I am going to also not be talking about my own personal problems, but rather about the industry in general. I think I will keep this relatively short and to the point as I know how this part of the industry can get exhausting. Before I started working in games, I was really passionate about something else. I actually learned how to program while I was studying for my computer science class. I even ended up taking a programming class, but I could never really put that much thought into it. I mean I had a very hard time with it and never was able to get the hang of the programming part when I got to college. I learned later that it was the only class in my school that had any kind of grading system and that it put the emphasis on programming assignments. T really have a passion for studying or actually studying. I always knew that I wanted to be a professional, but I never really had a way of knowing if it.
