Phillip Schofield ‘hires team of wealth management accountants to look after his finances’ after admitting his TV career is over
Philip Schofield has reportedly hired a team of wealth management accountants to look after his finances after he admitted his ‘beloved’ TV career is over.
Records at Companies House suggest that the This Morning star’s financial affairs will now be managed by Sedulo, a London-based firm that helps clients with a high net worth grow their wealth.
The presenter admitted he would likely never work in TV again, admitting in an interview he had ‘lost everything’ following the exposure of his ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a much younger colleague, plunging ITV into a crisis.
After he admitted he lied to his long-term co-presenter Holly Willoughby, the broadcaster and his talent agency YMU he dramatically resigned from his This Morning role.
YMU subsequently dropped the host, adding in a statement that ‘honesty and integrity are core values’ for its business and ‘talent management is a relationship built entirely on trust’.

Sedulo couldhelp preserve Schofield’s huge fortune that he made from decades working in television.
His real estate firm – Fistral Properties Ltd – is registered with the company’s London office, and will likely become his primary source of income now, the Mirror reports.
On Sedulo’s website it claims to be defined by its ‘financial and wealth management’.
It tells prospective clients: ‘Our vision is a service that is more professional, more personal, and more efficient — a service that is delivered by talented, dedicated, and highly qualified people who share this vision—always aiming to reduce your stress and give you peace of mind.
‘Whether you’re a successful entrepreneur or business owner or you’re starting out on your own, it’s never too early to seek sound advice. Whatever stage of your business journey you’re at, we’re here to support you.
‘By helping you to accumulate or preserve wealth, we ensure you have the confidence to face life’s big moments – now and in the future.’
Schofield’s business affairs were previously managed by YMU who helped craft his career and make him millions.
In recent weeks, rumours have been swirling that the fallen presenter was ‘in talks with senior TalkTV bosses about a role on the channel’ alongside his friend Vanessa Feltz – who is was pictured having dinner with earlier this month.
The former ITV star has become much of a recluse since he stood down from his role after admitting to lying about an affair with a much younger colleague

And, according to a new report, Schofield is set to create his own tell-all memoir about his version of events after being approached by ‘several book publishers’.
It has been said he hopes to ‘draw a line’ under what happened in what could be an ‘incredibly compelling account’ that is fully supported by his family.
A source told The Mirror: ‘Phil has had several approaches by book publishers – including Hodder & Stoughton – about a new memoir, in which he talks more fully about This Morning, Holly, and how his career at ITV imploded.
‘He made it clear in the conversation that he would like the chance to tell his story in full, and in some ways to draw a line under what has happened, but that he would not do so without the approval of his family.
‘Stephanie and the girls have been his lifeline all this time, while he’s been going through hell in private. So any further discussions are on hold until he has spoken to them, and they are happy with him going ahead.’
Meanwhile sources close to Schofield said his friends are trying to encourage him to lead a ‘fulfilling life’ away from showbusiness.
One told MailOnline: ‘Phillip has been very, very down recently. He doesn’t know how he is going to work again.
‘He is pretty sure that he is done. He keeps saying he will never work again. It’s devastating for him to realise but he also knows that there is not a lot he can do about it.
‘He doesn’t know who will take him, he knows there is no way back to ITV or the BBC.’

The comments echoed what Schofield said himself when he broke his silence in an interview with the BBC in the weeks following the scandal.
He said at the time: ‘I’m not in television any more, I don’t know what I am even remotely – if I get through this. I don’t know even remotely how I move forward – what am I going to do with my days?’
‘I did something very wrong and then I lied about it consistently and you can’t live with that. How do you live with that?’ he added.
Schofield admitted that the affair had rocked ITV, while Mary Bekhait, the CEO of his former agency said at the time: ‘Honesty and integrity are core values for YMU’s whole business, defining everything we do. Talent management is a relationship based entirely on trust.
‘This week, we have learned important new information about our client Phillip Schofield.
‘These facts contradicted what Phillip had previously told YMU, as well as the external advisors we had brought in to support him. As a result, on Thursday we agreed to part company with Phillip, with immediate effect.’
Schofield’s representatives told MailOnline ‘so far as I know these reports are nonsense’ adding the presenter had ‘no comment’.
MailOnline has contacted Sedulo.
