Martine McCutcheon urged her followers to "hold each other extra tight" and "make memories" in a reflective post on Instagram.
Martine’s post comes just days after she revealed the tragic and sudden death of her younger brother LJ – Laurence John – at the age of 31.
The Love Actually star, 46, shared the tragic news to her Instagram on October 11, adding that a cause of death had not yet been determined since LJ's passing two weeks before.
Martine shared a video of herself outside, breathing in the fresh air as she looked at the sky.
She wrapped up against the autumn weather in a leather jacket with a beanie hat, as her long brunette hair fell down.
She captioned the video: "A Blue sky and sunshine Saturday. Have a wonderful weekend all. Hold eachother extra tight and make memories."
Martine's celeb friends and followers continued to offer her their support and their well wishes in the wake of her brother's tragic death.
Gizzi Erskine wrote: "Love and power to you my Angel. Xxx."
Gaby Roslin commented: "Sensing hugs and love and light."
A fan said: "One day at time is all you can do to honour your brother", while another said: "Sending lots of love and you will get through this xxx."
Martine announced the devastating news of her brother Laurence John (LJ)’s passing last week and said that there was “no medical explanation” for his untimely death aged 31.
“My heart is forever broken…" she began the Instagram post.
"My baby brother, my gentle giant, sadly passed away, suddenly, 2 weeks ago. He was 31 years old. There is no medical explanation as to why we lost him so soon and whilst we investigate further, we are having to accept that nothing will bring our boy back to us. [broken heart emoji].”
Martine went on to reveal that LJ, who had a “mild form of special needs”, was due to get married next month and that their pair had discussed his upcoming nuptials before his passing.
"LJ fell in love and was due to get married next month…" she wrote with a pink heart emoji. "I was asked to be bridesmaid and the last time I saw him, was a few days before he passed. He, jack and his future stepson had been to try on their wedding suits and then they came back to have dinner with his fiancée and the family to see our new home.”
"He looked so tanned, tall and handsome. The best I’ve ever seen him… Ironic really… My heart aches for all who have lost him. But my heart breaks for our mum, his dad John & his Step parents. You should never outlive your children," with a black heart emoji.
