Other stars who have new music out this week include JVCKJ with “Money Memories,” Becky G‘s “Fulanito” with El Alfa, Dua Lipa‘s “Love Again” music video and indie singer songwriter Sarah Kinsley‘s new song and video “The King.”
“’Reckless’ was written about how easy it is for some people in relationships to hurt others and move on without any guilt,” Madison said of the song. “People have so much power over their partner’s feelings, yet many still choose to treat each other carelessly. I believe there is a balance to putting ourselves and our feelings first, while knowing we have the responsibility of treating people with respect, kindness, and consideration. It’s so important to find that balance in every relationship and knowing when to move on if you can’t.”
“I actually wrote ‘Be Myself’ with my friend Justin Jesso during the pandemic. I have always wanted to write a song about staying true to who you are and being proud of who you are. Nowadays, it’s hard not to compare yourself to others, so I think a song/message like this is really important,” Montana told Euphoria magazine about the song.
“’Money Memories’ is about living life to the fullest. When real life is better than your dreams, why sleep?” Jack shared about the track. “It’s funny because I actually think sleep is extremely essential to functioning like a normal human, but I suppose the angle of this song is more about those nights where you are staying up late, making memories with the people you love, and not worrying about tomorrow. ‘Money’ and ‘Memories’ are the two things that I’m striving to make while I’m in my 20’s and 30’s, hence the title. I love this record because it really allowed me to showcase the scope of my abilities from verse to verse. It feels like a song people will be making summer memories too.”
