The last series of Made In Chelsea saw Verity Bowditch and Tristan Phipps get into a war of words after they previously broke up, and she was left devastated when he started dating her friend Olivia Bentley.

The bubbly blonde, who recently opened up about her vegan lifestyle, was upset at her ex and her friend's decision to start seeing one another, but now Verity wishes them both the best.

The 25 year old exclusively told OK! Online: "I'm super happy for them. When it first started happening, I was very shocked, nobody saw that coming.

"The emotions were still raw from the old relationship, but that was about a year ago now, which is crazy.

"I'm happy for them both, I wish them all the best and who knows, the show does work it's magic sometimes and brings people together and they last a long time, so hopefully they're all good," Verity expressed.

The pilates instructor also revealed that she no longer speaks to Tristan but hopes to be civil when they begin filming again.

She said: "I haven't spoken to him at all since the last series, literally not a word, I don't follow him on Instagram and I think it's just best like that with exes.

"Where you're gonna be around each other and working in the same environment, you just leave it.

"But I'm sure if I was to see him again, it would be civil. We've grown up and we've moved on, that was so last year," Verity admitted.

The television personality also said that aside from a few virtual dates in lockdown, she is enjoying being alone and is fine with being single.

When asked what she looks for in a partner, she divulged: "I look for fun, somebody who looks outside of the box, someone who is quite surprising in what they do.

"Someone who I can learn from and somene who just doesn't take life too seriously."

Verity believes trust is the most important aspect in a relationship, and without it, a relationship just doesn't work.

"You have to be able to trust each other, or else it'll go completely out of the window. If you trust each other, you can do anything you want."
