Loose Women panellist Linda Robson opened up about her own grief after the actress suffered a miscarriage. The Birds of a Feather star said she recalled “something not being quite right” at the time of her loss.

It comes after singer Jessie J expressed her devastation in view of her legion of fans about her pregnancy loss yesterday.

The 32-year-old admitted that she was “overwhelmed” and full of “sadness” in a candid Instagram post.

Speaking on Loose Women today, the panellists addressed Jessie J’s personal story where Linda, 63, shared her own experience.

“After I had Lauren and then Louis, I got pregnant again for the third time,” she told her co-presenters.

“I was really excited about it and had my scans and everything was right in the first three months, scans and everything, and then I started to feel a bit strange.

“You know, when you just know that it’s not the same as the other pregnancies and something’s not quite right there. So I rang the hospital and asked if I could come in and have another scan.”

Linda explained that her husband was not at home and so she took the couple’s youngest son with her to the hospital.

She said: “I got there and they scanned me and the nurse went to me, ‘I’m just gonna have to call somebody in to see you’ so I thought ‘Oh no, that’s not sounding good.'”

The doctor told Linda that they were unable to find a heartbeat and advised her to return to the hospital the next day.

She explained: “That was a really hard day, like going home that night knowing that I’d have to go in and have suction the next day.”

Linda’s comments come after Jessie J publicly shared her own heartbreak, in view of her 10 million followers.

The Domino hitmaker explained that had decided to have the baby on her own.

She explained: “I decided to have a baby on my own. Because it’s all I’ve ever wanted and life is short. To get pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and I know I will have again.

“I’m still in shock, the sadness is overwhelming. But I know I am strong, and I know I will be ok.

“I also know millions of women all over the world have felt this pain and way worse. I feel connected to those of you I know and those of you I don’t.”

“I may crack less jokes but my heart will be in the room.”
