Kesha hemorrhaged vocal cords during Taylor Hawkins tribute performance

Kesha rocked out so hard on stage at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert that she hemorrhaged her vocal cords.

The Take It Off singer was among those performing in LA on Tuesday in honor of the late Foo Fighters drummer, who died in March at the age of 50.

Following a star-studded memorial concert in London at the beginning of the month, Miley Cyrus, Travis Barker, Pink, Brian May and Anais Morrisette were just a handful of the musicians paying tribute in the US.

However, during a stirring rendition of David Bowie’s Heroes, the 35-year-old suffered a fashion faux with her top before revealing an issue with her vocals.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a snap mid performance, explaining the issues she endured on stage.

‘So. in the middle of my wardrobe malfunction I decided to distract everyone from my t***ies falling out by singing rly Loud,’ Kesha captioned the upload. ‘And today I found out I hemorrhaged one of my vocal chords.

‘Soooo. I’m posting all the pics from the f**king moment bc. This was quite a moment [sic].’

Well, she’s not wrong.

In the comments below, fans and famous friends heaped praise on the Blow singer for carrying through with an incredible performance, while also urging her to rest up.

Betty Who penned: ‘Omg k noooooo !!!!! I mean very rock and roll but lmk if u want me to make u tea and snuggle [sic].’

‘That’s how u KNOW it was a legendary performance. Literally giving it everything [sic],’ a follower commented.

Another agreed: ‘This has to be one of the most rock and roll things that’s ever happened, ever. More importantly, hope your vocal chord fully recovers soon [sic].’

‘You were so great even if your top kinda exploded! You sounded fantastic [sic],’ one praised.

‘Legend either way,’ an Instagram user added. ‘Love you my hero. I’m so so so sorry your voice isn’t doing well. I hope you drink lots of tea & honey. Sending you a huge hug.’

Kesha also managed to laugh off the awkward moment on stage, reportedly telling the crowd: ‘Not to make light of this situation but Taylor would have loved that my t*ts just fell out.’
