Katie Price shows off Carl Woods tribute tattoo at court as he supports her

Katie Price showed off a tattoo in honour of her fiancé Carl Woods as she arrived at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

The 43-year-old had her partner’s name etched onto her wrist and the inking was visible as she arrived in court to hear her sentencing after she pleaded guilty to drink driving following a car crash in September.

Carl was also in attendance and arrived shortly after the former glamour model made her way into court.

Katie was then given a suspended 16-week prison sentence and two-year driving ban, as well as being ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid community work.

Katie was also instructed to pay £213 summing up £85 court costs and a £128 victim surcharge.

Katie and Carl have numerous tattoo tributes to each other. In October last year, the mother-of-five had Carl's face inked on her arm, adding to the growing collection of body art she has gathered over the years.

Carl has a matching tat of Katie's face in the same location on his arm.

This isn’t the first time Katie has had a lover inked on her body though, as she had former partner Leandro Penna's name tattooed on her ankle before covering it up with a horse after they parted ways.

She also had a tattoo of Peter Andre's name, which was also later covered up.

Handing down the sentence on Wednesday afternoon, district judge Amanda Kelly told Katie: “When you chose to get behind the wheel that night you showed no concern for others.

"You could have killed somebody. Your actions meant the emergency services had to use up their precious time. You knowingly and deliberately flouted a court order and not for the first time.

"You seem to think you are above the law."

The prosecution informed the courtroom that ahead of the crash Katie had consumed cocaine, vodka and lemonade and was 31mg above the legal alcohol limit of 35mg.

The prosecution did add however that the TV personality had been more than cooperative with following proceedings – although this did not impress the district judge.

“I cannot send you to jail today even though you may deserve to spend Christmas behind bars,” Ms Kelly added in court.

"You are extremely lucky the magistrates on a previous occasion decided to defer their decision."

If Katie does not keep to the conditions that have been set for her she could find herself sent to prison.
