Katie Price has quite literally got back up on the horse after breaking her feet in a horror fall.
The star, who has been recovering after her awful injury, shared a video of herself horseriding, which she describes as her ‘passion’.
In the clip, posted to Instagram, the mum-of-five could be seen riding around a paddock.
She wrote: ‘I’ve feel so lucky that I can’t run ever again but I can still ride my horses which is my passion and so good for me mentally ??? [sic].’
In another clip, Katie’s boyfriend Carl could be seen running and walking the dogs as she rode the horse behind him.
The 42-year-old suffered her injury last year during a family holiday to Turkey, which saw her fall 20 feet off of a wall after misjudging the height.
She was wheelchair-bound for the first few months, and can only walk very short distances.
The star has also been told that she will be in pain for the rest of her life.
Speaking about the injury on Loose Women recently, Katie said: ‘I had a lot of criticism from people saying, “Oh you haven’t really broken them because if you had you wouldn’t be out and about.”
‘You girls know me, I am determined, I am not just going to sit there, you have to get on with life. They said it would take 18 months before I could walk again, I have started to walk a bit now, it has been about eight months.’
‘I am now regarded disabled, I can get a blue badge,’ she added. ‘I can only be on my feet for about 20 minutes a day, I will never be able to run again.
‘So all those marathons that I would like to have done, I am going to have to do bikes. I am trying to find a positive with everything. I can still ride my horses.’
Speaking about what the future holds for Katie after the incident, she continued: ‘[The doctors] said for life I will be in pain, I will get arthritis, I don’t want to rely on painkillers – that’s not me. It is absolutely life-changing.
‘They say if it was on my back it would have been paralysing and if it was on my head, I would have been dead.’
