Jennifer Garner celebrates birthday and receives hometown key
Jennifer Garner explained her views on “mum guilt” and how she manages to avoid feeling as though her time with her children is limited.
The Daredevil actress shares Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11 , her ex and fellow Hollywood A-lister Ben Affleck.
The Peppermint star admitted it would be easy to get “freaked out” but at the end of the day, she ensures she makes the most of her time with her children.
She said: “Working mums get such a bad… we get all freaked out because we’re told constantly ‘you have 18 summers,’’you have this much time,’ ‘time is fleeting,’ and it makes you panic.”
“So, if you come from a place of expansiveness instead of feeling just like ‘I can’t be a mum because I’m also working, and I’m supposed to be guilty all the time.”

“You better just lean into wherever you are any day exactly like right now just be here when your kids show up be there and we’ll have a great time,” Jennifer told Access Hollywood.
Jennifer also credited her mom, Patricia Ann Garner, for her relaxed views on being a working mother.
She said: “My mom has always said to me ‘you’re their mom forever, don’t worry you can do your job. You’re their mom forever.
“‘I wish I had worked, I would have been a better mom. Your kids are going to be so proud of you,’” Jennifer added.
“She’s always given me that kind of grounding in that sense,” the movie star concluded.

Jennifer is set to make a comeback in the upcoming Deadpool film as her iconic character Elektra, which she last played close to 20 years ago.
Deadpool 3 will see the return of Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, the assassin antiheroine, after a 20-year hiatus from the franchise, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
Jennifer first starred as the Marvel assassin in 20th Century Fox’s Daredevil, the 2003 feature that also featured Ben Affleck as the Man Without Fear.
While the film didn’t garn raging reviews from critics, Jennifer landed her own spin-off starring as Elektra two years later.
However, like its predecessor, it was not a box office hit, but it was memorable as Jennifer was one of the few women to lead a studio comic book movie at the time.
