Jamie Redknapp, 48, and his wife Frida Andersson-Lourie, 38, welcomed their son Raphael last month. The football pundit took to Instagram and shared a rare family insight today.

The retired footballer shared a heartfelt moment when he first introduced his bundle of joy to his mum Sandra, 72, and brother Mark, 51, for the first time.

In view of his 1.4 million followers, the first photo shows the doting grandmother cradling the newborn in her arms.

The second snap shows Raphael laid on her lap as Sandra can be seen gazing down at him.

Jamie’s brother Mark is also pictured holding out a finger for the baby.

The sports pundit captioned the post: “This makes me so happy. First time Raphael met his nanny and uncle Mark.”

Jamie and his new wife Frida announced the arrival of their son Raphael last month, just five weeks after the couple tied the knot.

Sharing an adorable photo of him cuddling to the newborn, Jamie wrote: “Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp.

“We’re so in love, mum is doing so well too.

“We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough.

“So excited for him to meet my boys.”

The couple wed in front of family and friends in an intimate ceremony.

Jamie is already a dad to sons Beau, 13, and Charlie, 17, with his ex-wife Louise Redknapp.

Meanwhile, Frida has three sons and a daughter from her former union with American hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.

Louise and Jamie split up after 20 years of marriage back in 2017.

After the break-up, the mother-of-two said she felt like a “Stepford wife” during their relationship and stopped putting herself first.

Frida and Jamie began dating years after his split with Louise with the former couple’s divorce being finalised in 2018.

Meanwhile, Louise rubbished claims that she was in “despair” over her ex-husband welcoming a new child.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “I’d really love to clarify that ‘Louise’ is not in despair or anything like it!

“I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the time of my life with my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for.

“I’d like to make it clear that I’m in the most positive of headspace and loving my life. Here’s to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives and living their very best lives!”
