House of Villains: Teaser trailer
Former White House aide and reality star Omarosa Manigault Newman has spoken out about her time working for former president Donald Trump.
Promoting House of Villains, the competition bringing the most controversial reality show stars face-to-face, Omarosa hit out at Trump.
The Apprentice star branded the politician a “con man” and accused him of fabricating a “house of cards” for the aspiring entrepreneurs.
Speaking of her experience on the show, Omarosa said: “For me, I just can’t believe I fell for a con man, a con man who turned out to be the biggest fraud.”
She continued: “I mean, literally found by the courts to be a big fraud, so a lot of the backdrop of our show, a lot of The Apprentice that we thought was real was fabricated, and it was just a house of cards.

“So, I mean, we were duped, and we were young entrepreneurs thinking that we were really gonna learn something from this brilliant businessman. All we learned was not the art of the deal but the art of the con.”
Back in 2018, Omarosa released a series of secretly recorded conversations from within the White House, including an alleged phone call between herself and President Trump directly following her December 2017 sacking, in which the President expressed surprise that she had been fired.
In the audio tapes, released on NBC’s Today Show, Omarosa is heard saying: “General Kelly – General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave.”
President Trump is heard responding: “No, nobody even told me about it.
“You know they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it. I didn’t know that. Goddamn it. I don’t love you leaving at all.”

Critics at the time raised concerns that Omarosa may have been breaching White House security regulations.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said: “The very idea a staff member would sneak a recording device into the White House Situation Room shows a blatant disregard for our national security.”
At the time, Trump fired back at his former employee and accused her of “begging” for her job and causing problems within the White House.
Writing on Twitter, he said: “Wacky Omarosa, who got fired three times on The Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will.
“She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said OK. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard really bad things.”
The news comes as a poll found Trump was the favourite to be the next speaker.
