Gisele Bündchen is going back to her roots. On Dec. 18, the supermodel shared snippets of a recent trip to Brazil with her kids Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10. “Recharging with my little ones in the country of my ❤️,” Bündchen wrote on Instagram, also sharing the same caption in Portuguese. The series of photos shows the idyllic scenery of the Praia Brava beach in Bündchen’s home country, where she spent quality time with the two children she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady.

Bündchen and Brady publicly announced the decision to end their 13-year marriage on Oct. 28. “With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce,” Bündchen shared via Instagram Story. On his own account, Brady added, “We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration. Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world.”

Speculations about difficulties between Bündchen and Brady began circulating a few months before the divorce was finalized, but tensions were confirmed on Sept. 16 when a source told People that the couple had been living separately for more than a month at the time. Despite their divorce, the two stars maintain joint custody of their children and have promised to put them first. “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart,” Bündchen said when she announced the split. “We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve.”

On the Oct. 31 episode of the podcast “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray,” the NFL quarterback echoed his ex-wife’s sentiment about his commitment to Benjamin, Vivian, and his teenage son, Jack, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan. “I’m really focused on two things: taking care of my family — and certainly my children — and secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games.”
