Gemma Collins lift lids on Leonardo DiCaprio meeting before club threw me out

Gemma Collins has lifted the lid on her meeting with Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio that led to her being thrown out of a members club.

The formerTOWIEstar, 41, opened up about the incident to presenter Judi Love, 42, on Chanel 4’s The Big Breakfast show on Saturday 3 September. 

Gemma said: "I did [meet Leonardp]. The issue weren't with Leonardo, and the issue weren't with me, the issue was with the snooty members club… 

"I get treated so bad there. People have got a problem with reality stars, I ain't just a reality star honey, I'm a star. I've done all the shows, I've sat next to Naomi Campbell, I'm sitting next to Judi Love.”

She went on: "What it was, we were sitting in there… I was with people, I was invited. Leonardo was there and he turned around to me at the bar and he went to me, 'Hello!'"

Judi then asked: "Oh so he knew who you were?!" to which Gemma responded: "Of course he did! So I went, 'Hello,' and next thing I got tapped on the shoulder and told, 'You need to leave'.

Gemma went on: “I went, 'Sorry?' and they said, 'You know what you've done,' and I said, 'What, I've said hello to someone? Someone said hello to me and I said hello back'. They threw me out.

"More shame on them because Leonardo's people put a statement out there saying he did not ask me to be thrown out the club."

During her frank chat with Judi, Gemma also spoke about her wedding plans to fiancé Rami Hawash.

Gemma has just returned from alavish sun-soaked holiday abroad in Mykonos, Greece,where she confirmed she scouted venues for her nuptials to her 48 year old other half Rami.

She compared herself toJennifer LopezandBen Affleck's incredible story of rekindling their romance andtying the knot, nearly two decades after they originally dated.

Gemma said: "I'm going to ring JLo and see if she'll lend me one of her outfits for the wedding maybe. JLo, I'm going to be putting in a call honey!"

Speaking about the intimate details around her wedding, the blonde beauty went on: "Darling, it ain't gonna be low key.

"I've got everyone around the world gonna be working on this dress. It is going to be out of this world, it is gonna be something that nobody's going to expect."
