DJ Khaled has revealed the title of his forthcoming, 12th studio album using a theatrical video which takes viewers across his 22-year-long career, beginning from the early days, when he rose to prominence through his work as a radio host in the ’90s on the Miami Hip-Hop station, 99 Jamz.
The 90-second clip that was posted on social media includes many of the proudest moments of the DJ and producer’s career and personal life, including the birth of his children, collaborations with leading artists across the industry, including Rihanna, Quavo, Justin Bieber, Jenifer Lopez and Cardi B, and snippets from various award ceremonies.
The title of the new album was revealed to be Khaled Khaled towards the end of the clip, though the release date of the record has yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, DJ Khaled has continued to hype up the album by releasing a string of artwork on Instagram in the promotion of two singles taken from the album. Titled “Popstar” and “Greece,” both tracks feature the Canadian rapper, Drake, and were released at midnight on Thursday.
