Danielle Lloyd is urging wags Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy to put their differences aside and stop their legal battle, which has been rumbling on since 2019.

The saga between Coleen, 35, and Rebekah, 39, first sparked when Wayne Rooney's wife accused Rebekah's Instagram account of "leaking false stories" about her to the press in a social media post in October 2019.

Jamie Vardy's wife has vehemently denied the claims and has taken her fellow WAG to court in an attempt to sue her for libel.

Now, their long term pal Danielle, 37, who is over the moon that she will be welcoming her first daughter, has told OK! their ongoing battle needs to "come to an end now".

"I just think it’s dragged on so long now," she claimed.

"If it wasn’t still going on, people wouldn’t talk about it anymore, nobody would even care.

"I think it just needs to come to an end now and needs to be dropped, because it’s a massive waste of money."

She finished off by adding: "You don’t have to like each other and just leave it at that."

Back in April, a source told new that Coleen wouldn't be giving up anytime soon.

"Coleen isn’t throwing in the towel or giving up. She won’t apologise, but she wants to avoid piling on court costs,” the source claimed.

It comes as Rebekah has been successful in her request to have parts of Coleen's defence thrown out of their libel case.

High Court judge Mrs Justice Steyn has now dismissed a claim by Coleen that Rebekah showed "publicity seeking behaviour" as she sat behind her in someone else's seat during the 2016 Euro football tournament.

Mrs Justice Steyn has found that even if the allegation was true, it would still not help Coleen's case against Rebekah.

However, Mrs Justice Steyn did rule against Rebekah on other parts of Coleen's defence and denied her bid for summary judgement.

Elsewhere, Danielle is focussed on all things motherhood as she and her husband Michael O'Neill will be welcoming a daughter after wanting a baby girl for so long.

"I’m over the moon. I can’t really believe it, to be honest," she told new.

"I don’t think it will feel real until she arrives."

Danielle then revealed she burst into tears when the doctor revealed she and Michael will become parents to a daughter in the coming months.

"I felt sick. I couldn’t breathe on the way there," Danielle said. "It was excitement, nerves, everything. And then he handed Michael a bit of paper, which said, 'It’s 99% a baby girl.'

"I burst into tears straight away, I just couldn’t believe it."
