Coleen Rooney and husband Wayne are all smiles on the red carpet as Vardy row rumbles on

Coleen Rooney and her husband Wayne looked every inch the glamorous couple as they made a rare red carpet appearance on Thursday night.

The couple attended the world premiere of the documentary Robbo: The Bryan Robson Story at Manchester's Home cinema.

In a Posh and Becks-style move, the couple sported co-ordinated outfits, both opting for classic black ensembles.

Wayne, 36, wen5t for a stylist back suit and tie, while Coleen, 35, went for a for an off-the-shoulder jumpsuit and gold heels.

The former England football star and his wife of 13 years stunned fans with their red carpet style. Wayne, aged 36, opted for a classic but stylish black suit and tie. Whilst Coleen, 35, wowed the crowd with her off the shoulder black jumpsuit and gold heels.

Their appearance came amid the latest updates on the Rebekah Vardy row, which is continuing to rumble on since the infamous 'Wagatha Christie' incident in October 2019.

The drama between former friends Coleen and Rebekah made headlines around the globe, after the former accused the latter's Instagram account of being linked to stories about her private life being published by the British press.

Rebekah, 39, has strongly denied the claims and is suing Coleen for libel. The pair are currently locked in a legal battle with numerous High court appeals having taken place.

Recent reports claimed the drama could even become the tope of a documentary, as Coleen is reportedly keen to ‘let the public make their own minds up’ on the matter. Coleen is reportedly set to sign a £1million deal for a film about the saga.

Wayne and Coleen's public appearance also comes after the usually private mum-of-four publicly discussed her husband's previous scandals.

Discussing reports of Wayne's partying, Coleen says in the trailer for an Amazon Prime documentary on her husband: "I knew groups Wayne was hanging around with – together with alcohol – not good. I forgive him but it wasn't acceptable.”
