You are here on a mission to kill the monsters hiding under your bed. And after you kill them, you are going to take your knife and cut those little slits in the sheet up in the first place, before heading directly to your mommy. RICHMOND has been left with another injury concern after midfielder Rhys Palmer tore his pectoral in a heavy collision in the VFL on Saturday. Palmer, who is a mature-age academy product, was hurt when he slammed into Richmond defender Shaun Grigg. Richmond said Palmer would be examined by the Tigers medical staff. Rhys Palmer has suffered a long-term injury and will be examined by the Tiger medical team this week, a club spokesman said. A more immediate concern is for the rest of the players welfare. Rhys has been a team member for several years and is an important member of our midfield. If Palmer misses more than 10 days, it would put more pressure on Tom Hickey, who is likely to start the season in the main line-up again. As you may have heard, the new movie American Assassin has been criticized for its depiction of Islam, specifically as practiced in the life of Mitch Rapp, the character played by Dylan OBrien. This criticism has come mainly from some of the same people who have previously complained about the movies portrayal of the Civil Rights Movement. While there is likely a grain of truth to many of these complaints, its also important to point out that there is an over-emphasis on portraying Rapp as a dangerous extremist and the under-emphasis of the fact that other characters have their own serious prejudices and ideological stances on Islam, but theyre not as explicit. In one scene, Rapp, a former Navy SEAL, meets a woman of the Muslim faith. Shes a lawyer working to help the children of the Sept. The scene isnt shown, but it would have been a fitting one, and it would have also depicted the tensions between American and Muslim attitudes. Well, the first concern is that American Assassin is an action film. Were used to seeing these images of jihadists on screen, and we expect them to be present. But, more importantly, theres been some concern that the film doesnt show enough empathy for a character who comes from a background very different than Rapps, one in which violence against women is almost entirely tolerated. Kurdistan, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan. If the film had portrayed Rapp in a more sympathetic light, then it could have been a conversation starter.
