Carol Kirkwood, 59, took to social media today to share a glimpse of her morning routine with fans ahead of BBC Breakfast. However, the presenter described being “distracted” by her co-star as she was getting ready at BBC studios.

In view of her 216,000 followers, Carol shared a picture of herself and meteorologist Tomasz Schafernaker.

In the selfie, Tomasz can be seen making a funny face as Carol shows the camera the peace sign with her hands.

In the tweet, Carol referred to her colleague as “this lovely man”.

She penned: “Being distracted by this lovely man @Schafernaker this morning!!!”

She signed off the message with a series of laughing face and love heart emojis.

The tweet quickly got her fans attention as it got hundreds of likes.
