Amanda Owen has taken to Twitter to give fans an insight into the mucky side of farming as she likened it to some of the attention she’s been receiving in the media. The shepherdess shared a video of herself driving a tractor on the field, while one her daughters was seen gutting out the barns.
The 48-year-old was supported by fans as she urged people to “be kind” following the news Our Yorkshire Farm has been replaced.
In view of her 205,000 followers, she wrote: “Another day, more **it to deal with.
“Good job it goes with the territory.

Many of her fans commented on her latest post.
Polly wrote: “You and your family always come together and do an AMAZING job. Much love to you all.”
Kim Nicholls added: “Yep – once you’re in the public eye it seems you’re fair game.
“Annoying but there’s always people who will dumb you down. That’s the price of fame I’m afraid – just rise above it.”

Amanda’s post comes after it was revealed her family show Our Yorkshire Farm has been scrapped.
The slot on Channel 5 will be replaced with new show Beyond the Yorkshire Farm: Reuben and Clive.
The programme will follow the farmer and their eldest son as he steps up in the family business.

A statement from Channel 5’s Factual boss Daniel Pearl reads: “The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life.
“It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure.”
Amanda will not feature on the show, but could possibly be back on screens in the future.
He added: “We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon.”
The news comes five months after Amanda and Clive announced their split.
The couple were married for 21 years and share nine children together.
In an Instagram post at the time, she wrote: “Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.
“Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.”
