Alix Earle has had quite the rise to stardom thanks to her super popular TikTok account!
The 22-year-old content creator has gone from the video platform to red carpets, and there’s so much more on the way for her.
Earlier this month, it was announced that she has signed a deal with Alex Cooper‘s The Unwell Network to develop new multi-platform content and projects.
Of course, with a rise to stardom, comes the haters, criticism and loads of public scrutiny on your every move. So, how does she handle all of that negativity?
Check out what she said inside…
Alix tells Elle that it’s strange “to see people talk about me as if I’m not able to see the videos or read the comments. I’m sitting right there on my phone scrolling.”
“I’m putting myself out there, so people are allowed to have their own opinions.…I care about their constructive criticism, but not so much the hate,” she adds.
How does she handle all the public scrutiny?
“It’s not the negative comments that bother me, but the ones that just aren’t true. You can’t control everything and what everyone thinks. It’s really just about being happy offline, and then you can be yourself online,” Alix shared with the mag. “Navigating relationships and sharing them at the same time with millions of people is definitely a little stressful. I like to share what goes on in my life with my followers, but there are also some moments that you have to keep private.”
