A Place In The Sun presenter Laura Hamilton has jetted off to Spain following the announcement of her split from husband Alex.
The TV presenter, 39, announced the news on social media on Saturday writing it's "not something I ever thought I'd be saying."
Now, she looks to be taking a break in the sunshine, posting a photo of a view from a balcony overlooking the sea in Spain.
The presenter shared a photo of her view to her 143,000 followers of clear blue skies and a sparkling sea behind a lush green garden.
She captioned the photo: “Hello Sunshine… #spain #sanpedro #blueskies #sunshine”.
Announcing the couple’s split a day earlier, Laura shared a photo of a quote which read: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
She then penned as the caption: "This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.
"Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time. Laura."
The TV favourite wed Alex in 2012, and they share two adorable children together – Rocco and Tahila.
Laura recently told fans she wasmoving out of her family home in Surrey, after nine years there .
The couple transformed the property during their time there, and Laura said "incredible memories" had been made inside the home.
She shared: "I wish I could say I look like this photo right now but I don’t because, since the start of the new year we have been packing up our home ready to move…
"Today we close the door and say goodbye to a home that we have loved and enjoyed for the last 9 years – the longest I have lived anywhere in my entire adult life!
"It was a home that we transformed (as you can see in the photos), but MORE importantly it was a home where we created some incredible memories that we will cherish forever…
"Change can be scary but you know what is scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving and progressing.
"When it feels scary to jump that’s exactly when you jump, otherwise you just end up staying in the same place your whole life, and that I can’t do…"
Laura's split comes after she opened up on the symptoms of her autoimmune disease aftersharing her diagnosis in September last year.
At the time, the 39 year old had told her fans she's been living with a rare disorder called Immune thrombocytopenia, which causes excessive bruising and bleeding.
