Britney Spears appeared to take a swipe at Justin Timberlake after he performed Cry Me a River in Vegas.
This week, Justin, 42 performed at the opening of the new Fontainebleau Hotel in Vegas and told the crowd "no disrespect" before he sang his hit Cry Me a River.
The 2002 song was written about Britney following their split after a three-year relationship and it appears the pop star had something to say about her ex's latest performance.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Britney shared a video of a leopard drinking water in between two men pole dancing and one man standing upside down against the wall.
She added the caption: "Oh Jesus Christ, the stories … I could tell on the set of this one !!! There's always more to the story and that's not even half of it !!! It was shot in Arizona 120 degree heat … 2 different version videos were shot for this song … most boys say 'OH I'M SHOOK!!!'"
It's then thought she took a swipe at Justin to his comment on stage as she added: "Psss I never mentioned how I beat him in basketball and he would cry … no disrespect!!!"
The former couple were in a relationship from 1999 to 2002 and after their split, Justin released the huge hit Cry Me a River alongside a music video featuring a Britney lookalike who cheated on him.
However, Britney claimed in her memoir The Woman in Me, released in October this year, that they were both unfaithful in their relationship. She also claimed that Justin's release of Cry Me a River changed the narrative and she was seen as the one who "broke" his heart.
She wrote in her book: "I felt there was no way at the time to tell my side of the story".
Talking about the song, Britney added: "I couldn’t explain, because I knew no one would take my side once Justin had convinced the world of his version. I don’t think Justin realised the power he had in shaming me. I don’t think he understands to this day."
The 42 year old also wrote that she was "devastated" by their break up and felt that everyone looked at her as the "harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy."
