Strictly’s Bobby Brazier baffles Dianne Buswell with risqué love life slip-up

Strictly: Bobby mentions ‘person he shares a bed with’

Bobby Brazier made an awkward bedroom confession live on Strictly Come Dancing, leaving his pro partner Dianne Buswell rather red-faced.

The 20-year-old EastEnders actor and the Australian dancer performed to “Ghost of You” by 5 Seconds of Summer and dazzled the judges with an American Smooth routine.

After the dance, Bobby and Dianne chatted to Strictly host Claudia Winkleman about their rehearsals leading up to the performance.

Claudia asked the actor if he had been rehearsing his moves “in his sleep”.

“I woke up one morning doing this,” Bobby admitted, waving his hands in the air.

“I woke myself up doing that. Crazy.”

He continued: “And then the week before, the person that I shared the bed with, I turned, and I said, ‘This is the industrial twist.'”

His bedroom confession stunned Claudia, Dianne, and the rest of the professional dancers, who began to laugh at his comment.

Mortified, Bobby muttered: “Anyway,” before Claudia quipped: “Let’s pull on that string.”

Moving swiftly on, Claudia then added: “OK. Good. I’ll tell you what, we’re gonna halt it there. Congratulations again.”

The pair scored an impressive 32 points out of a possible 40 from the judges.

Elsewhere, Dianne’s boyfriend Joe Sugg has said that he is “supportive” of his girlfriend’s close friendship with Bobby.

Speaking to The Mirror, Dianne opened up about the tough nature of her job and how supportive Joe is.

“I barely get to see him [Joe] much,” she said. “But he understands. He was one of the contestants, so he understands how much time and energy it takes and how much the show means to me.

“He’s always supportive. Whatever I do with my dancing, he knows its my job and it’s my passion, and he’s always been so supportive of me and Bobby.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Sunday evening on BBC One.
