Sir Rod Stewart talks about losing his voice before being due to perform
Sir Rod Stewart had a surprising reaction after his wife Penny Lancaster apparently threw his chicken dinner at the wall.
Speaking on the It Can’t Just Be Me podcast, presenter Gabby Logan said that Penny, 52, had previously discussed the incident involving her 78-year-old husband Sir Rod with her.
Gabby and fellow presenter Anna Richardson were discussing perimenopausal symptoms when she said: “I had Penny Lancaster on my podcast, The Midpoint, and she talked about throwing Rod Stewart’s chicken dinner at the wall.
“And she said, Rod took the boys out of the kitchen and then came back and sat down with her.
“And I love Rod Stewart for this because I mean, he’s had some practice.

The pair’s eldest son Alastair recently revealed he is following in the footsteps of his model mum.
The teenager posed up a storm for an Instagram shoot last month, in which he gave a confident look down the lens.
He shared his new post in view of his 15,000 followers and many kindly left a compliment.
For the snap, Alastair opted for all-black attire consisting of a vest, trousers and matching shoes and he also wore his curtain-like hair in a neat style tucked behind his ears.
