Gogglebox favourites Stephen and Daniel Lustig-Webb have revealed the one hilarious quip from the show that will “follow us to our grave”.
The Channel 4 icons spoke to Express.co.uk and other publications on the red carpet at The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Awards 2023.
Stephen was recalling some of his favourite moments from his 10 year career, with one particular highlight being the “terrorist line.”
He said: “I think the terrorist line will probably follow us to our grave, but there you go.”
The TV star was referring to a highlight from 2018 when Stephen was watching a hard-hitting series with then-Gogglebox star and his ex-partner Chris, who joked: “We all like a bad boy, don’t we?”
With a shocked expression, Stephen then replied: “Yeah, not a f***ing terrorist though Chris. There’s a bad boy and then there’s evil.”

Stephen appeared to be in a positive mood during the awards and said that it was “the perfect time” for the pair to leave Gogglebox.
He revealed: “It’s really exciting, it’s been ten years. I think it’s the perfect time to leave really” with Daniel adding: “We left on a high, didn’t we?”
Earlier this month, Stephen told fans on Instagram that he and Daniel would be quitting the Channel 4 show in an emotional post.
He announced: “After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox.
“We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities. We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.”

Stephen also said: “We are also extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love and support over the years.”
As one of the original Gogglebox cast members when the programme launched in 2013, fans were gutted at the announcement.
One person commented: “Thanks for years of laughter and fun wish you and Daniel the best!” A second typed: “Gutted it won’t be the same without you, but Thankyou for the laughs over the last 10 years.”
The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Awards was celeberating its sixth year, though the 2023 ceremony is all the more special as the NHS marks its 75th anniversary.
The ceremony, sponsored by the National Lottery and partnership with NHS Charities Together, saw celebrities such as Piers Morgan, Vernon Kay, Michelle Visage and Vanessa Feltz all in attendance.
